GARDEN OF
ETERNAL MEMORIES DEVELOPMENT
Our stunning
Garden of Eternal Memories cremation memorial garden is now open
to the public.
Designed by
internationally recognised landscape architects Mark McWha Pty Ltd,
this garden combines contemporary design with natural earthy elements
to create a new era in cremation memorials.
The garden's
overall design is based around the four nodes of the compass: North,
South, East and West. Each node is individually themed, representing
the four seasons, the four stages of human life, the four corners
of earth and the four elements of life.
Heavy timber
pergolas beautifully frame the North, East, and South nodes. Timber
and bluestone seats are a feature of these pergolas, providing serene
areas for quiet contemplation. The West Node is flanked by a colorful
mosaic mural, receiving the first morning rays of the sun from the
east.
A shallow ornamental
pool spans from the south to the north side of the gardens. Colorful
water plants add life to this pool of reflection. A timber bridge
crossing the water creates a grand entrance to the Garden of Eternal
Memories.
Open grassland
with mature trees, shrubs and groundcover plantings, can be used
for either family or individual memorials.
Private family
niches are scattered along the garden's outer path. Each has been
constructed with a lasting stone wall surround, creating a private
area for families to reflect. Each family niche is decorated with
small plantings and a boulder for the family name.
